The aim of the position is to:

- Develop and maintain all marketing, customer service and revenue strategies to meet Abu Dhabi Plaza (further - ADP) footfall across all ADP assets, average spend, asset investment objectives; manage the entire marketing function from strategic planning to tactical implementation.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research.
  • Evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implement marketing plan changes as needed.
  • Design and implement wide go-to-market plan; direct all departments to execute; partner with various mall tenants; create new and exciting programs to improve overall mall compliance with marketing strategy; develop measureable promotional themes for all ADP assets and events around different promotional periods and product launches, yet ensure alignment to strategy.
  • Develop annual marketing plan with reference to leasing.
  • Develop and implement marketing function policies and procedures.
  • Oversee all marketing, advertising, media, promotional and customer service staff and activities; manage all aspects of print production, receipt and distribution; evaluation, planning and execution of outsourcing as appropriate.
  • Oversee public relations, customer service, event and promotion planning, updating the mall's website and social media outlets; create promotional copy and marketing materials for the facility.
  • Evaluate loyalty/rewards programmes, direct audience development in order to encourage repeat business; ensure the achievement of frequent, timely and positive media coverage for and its programs across all available media.
  • Accountable for bilateral corporate and merchant communication relationships.
  • Evaluate and respond to tenant sales trend analysis.
  • Manage the Marketing Department Budget.
  • Nurture and engage 3rd party relationships to the benefit of all stakeholders.
  • Staff supervision and development, office management, budgeting and monthly financial analysis and reporting; respond to relevant operational issues with the goal of maximizing the asset value of the property.

Min of: 10+ years of experience.

FIELD OF EXPERIENCE

Large, mixed use developments or malls.

TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

  • Proven ability to deliver assertive leadership to all marketing, advertising, customer service and promotional staff and activities; demonstrated technical marketing skills and product knowledge of green-field marketing malls, mixed use, shopping centres.
  • Skills in focused marketing delivery that drives footfall.
  • Experience with benchmarking, trend and sensitivity analysis; design of mall CRM processes within large, complex environments.
  • Understanding of the local market supported by extensive international experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies.
  • Negotiate and manage 3rdparty agreements.
  • Demonstrated advanced communication, motivational and interpersonal skills.

QUALIFICATION

Bachelor degree in marketing, MBA is highly preferred. Knowledge of advanced level of English is required.
